She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn King and Gordon Gibbs; her husband Wes Petersen; and her siblings, Correll Pezzee, Leslie Conklin, Linda Chase, Kathryn Hutmaker, Gordon, Richard, James and Donald Gibbs.
She is survived by: her children, Tamar P. Schrager (Mike Daly) and Andrew Petersen (Kim Lavoie); her brother Thomas Gibbs; and her aunt Betty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to Our Lady of the Valley Church Memorial Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, care of Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home.
