We bid farewell to Michael George Shea of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 28, 2025 at the age of 73. Michael George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Shea and Virginia Catherine Shea (Heaslip) of Bennington, Vermont.; his brother Patrick Shea; and his grandparents, Joseph, Lela Shea (Waite), Charles and Anna Heaslip (Fitzgerald).
He is survived by: his children, John Shea (Katrina Wilson), Kyle Shea (Ashley Brunner) and Andrea Shea (Michael Carroll); his grandson Ethan Carroll; his former wife Judith McWilliams; and his siblings, Mary Shea Rosen, Aileen Shea Gebbie, Brian Shea and Tom Shea. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hanson, Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home (213 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201).
