It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel C. Meehan of Shirley, Massachusetts, born in Holbrook, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Meehan and Marjorie Meehan (Faulkner). He is survived by: his wife Rene M. Meehan (Nordin); his children, Kira A. Burns (Alex Burns) of Leominster, Tiana A. Meehan (Josh Bryan) of Framingham and Tyler C. Meehan of Shirley; and his siblings, Frederick Meehan Jr. of Old Lyme, CT, Kathy Hamilton of Ashburnham and Diane Benson of Plymouth.

He donated his time to coaching Ayer-Shirley youth baseball and basketball; not only did he teach the fundamentals of sports but the fundamentals of life and importance of family.
