He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Mattero and Angelina Mattero (Bosco); his son Pasquale "Patsy" Mattero; and his siblings, Gaetano of Shrewsbury, Ferdinando, Salvatore, Augustino of Italy, Christina Mastrogiacomo of Shrewsbury, Maria Soldano and Anna Gentile of Italy.
He is survived by: his wife Michelina Mattero (Maggiore); his sons, John Mattero of Shrewsbury, Bartolomeo Mattero of Worcester and Antonio Mattero (Laurie) of Worcester; his grandsons, Anthony and Mason; and his siblings, Caterina Nardella of Shrewsbury and Vincent Mattero (Shirley) of Shrewsbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
