It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eileen Mary Korpi of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles F. McNamara and Theresa Nora McNamara (Fitzgibbons); her grandmother Mary McNamara (Goodwin); and her former life partner Kenneth Korpi. She is survived by : her daughters, Charlene King of Clinton and Sharon Hirtle of Shrewsbury; her granddaughters, Katelyn Hirtle of Shrewsbury and Ellen Harper (Hirtle); her grandson-in-law Jared Harper (Dalpe) of Holden; her fiancé Billy Nigzus of Clinton; her brothers, Edward of Aurora, OR and William of San Diego, CA; and her friends, Carol Scanlon and Jane Mack.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (648 Main St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (640 Main St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at the Mountain View Cemetery (22 Boylston St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545).

In lieu of flowers, she requested memorial donations be made in her name to Make-A- Wish Foundation.
