She is survived by: her husband Hongsheng Cai; her son Kevin Cai; her mother Shijie Wang; her sister Xin Katherine Ye; her brother-in-law Anthony Chen; and her niece Christina Chen. She is also survived by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Fei's name to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
