She is survived by: her children, Peter F. Whitney (Nancy), David H. Whitney (Margaret), Ellen K. Whitney and John J. Whitney (Thipwan); her grandchildren, Ashley Whitney, Jill Amero, Catherine Whitney and Peter Whitney; her brother Dr. Peter J. Zuromskis; and her nieces, Catherine and Tamara. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
