He was predeceased by : his father John MacLeod II. He is survived by : his mother Pearl MacLeod Pugliese (Bergstrom); his daughter Jamie Hawley (Ryan Hawley) of Northborough; his grandsons, Benjamin and Austin Hawley; his son Michael MacLeod; his sister Deborah Richard (MacLeod) of Worcester; his nieces and nephews, Brian Richard (Jessica) of Lunenburg, Diandra Blackwood of Boston and Jessica Richard (Adam Caruso) of Palmer; and his former life partner Debra MacLeod (Barrell) of Shrewsbury.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Sandy MacLeod to support cancer research and patient care at: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - P.O. Box 849168.
