She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Powers and Antoinette Powers (Philibert); and her sister Nancy Nichols. She is survived by: her husband John D. Freitas, Jr.; her grandson Thomas John "TJ" Kesman; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Kesman (Thomas James "Tom"); her siblings, Rosalind Pidgeon (Patrick), Perry Powers, Gary Powers, John Powers, Deborah Miller (Timothy) and Marsha Willey (Bruce); and her brother-in-law Leigh Nichols.
