She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Koenig; her father Arno Bodenstedt; her adoptive father Rev. Albert Schofer; her mother Lettie Schofer; and her brothers, Glen Schofer and William Bodenstedt.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Koenig (Tifeny) and Jodi Colby; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Colby; her siblings, Karen Abel, Ellen Fulmer (Bill) and Alvin Schofer (Kathy); and her sister-in-law Beverly Schofer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
