He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn S. Reidy (Jaworski); his parents, Dennis J. Reidy and Gertrude Reidy (McSherry); and his siblings, Dennis, Richard and Denise.

He is survived by: his children, James M. Reidy (Christina), Timothy A. Reidy (Jackie), Kathleen Cullen, Susan E. Reidy, Patricia D. Reidy and Sharon E. Foley (Neil); his close friend Penny Benjamin; and his sister Janice Dubuque. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
