With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice Simbro of Somerset, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on May 28, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Alice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Simbro; her parents, Manuel Correia and Maria Correia (Furtado); her son Gary A. Simbro; and her siblings, Joseph, Manuel Corriea and Irene Gress.
She is survived by: her son Bruce A. Simbro of Somerset.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (530 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, MA 02777). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
