He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Martel and Eva Martel (Blaine). He is survived by: his wife Stella Martel (Hamel); his children, Moe Martel, Dee Griffin (John), Gerard Martel (Leigh), Raymond Martel and Diane Martel-Matrone (Ron); his grandchildren, Sheri, Sandy, Ali, Jen, David, Tara and Lauren; and his siblings-in-law, Richard, Normand Hamel and Rose Martel. He is also survived by spouses and 18 great grandchildren.
