With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Curt of Somerset, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Barbara's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Barbara's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur R. Curt; and her parents, Timothy Murphy and Louise Murphy (Bodreau). She is survived by: her children, Susan James (Michael) of Southbury, CT, Patricia Scanlon of Swansea, Deborah Ort of Little Compton, RI, Rhonda Furtado (Kenneth) of Kingstown, RI, Steph, George Curt (Elaine) and Marilyn Pauly; and her goddaughter Andrea Travis. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hathaway Community Home For Funerals (900 Buffinton St, Somerset, MA 02726). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luis de France Church (56 Buffinton St, Swansea, MA 02777).
