She was predeceased by: her husband Norman "Tiger" Rivard; her parents, Fernand Soares and Frances A. Soares (Ouellette); and her sister Joan King. She is survived by: her children, Carol A. Geller of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Anne R. Hill of Tolland, CT, Professor Emeritus David A. Rivard of Kittery, ME and Somerset Fire Chief Stephen J. (Rivard Ret); her grandchildren, Michael Geller, Stephanie Ericson, Simone Rivard, Coleman and Noah Hill; her great grandchildren, Walker Geller and James Ericson; and her brother Richard "Dick" Soares. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
