He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Castro (Correia); his parents, Ernine Castro and Etelvina Castro (Antunes-Sousa); and his siblings, Adrian Castro, Antonio Castro and Maria Deschenes.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Castro of Edgartown, MA, Matthew Castro of Vineyard Haven, MA and Elizabeth Souza (Bryan) of Westport, MA; his grandchildren, Jessica Souza Bridges (Matthew), Ava Belle Castro (Scott Goldin) and Adam Castro; his great grandchildren, Jacob Bridges, Audrey Bridges, Wren Castro-Goldin and Sawyer Castro-Goldin; and his brother Edward Castro of Florida. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
