With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire M. Hayes of Somerset, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Claire farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Claire is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael A. Hayes and Sarah Hayes (McNamara); and her sister Mary M. Hayes. She is survived by: her friend Richard Wolff.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Hathaway Community Home For Funerals (900 Buffinton St, Somerset, MA 02726). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption Fall River (327 Second St, Fall River, MA 02721). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
