We announce the death of Doris L. (Bernier) Pineau of Somerset, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 28, 2026. She was predeceased by: her husband Alcide Pineau; her parents, Antoine Bernier and Alma Bernier (LaFlamme); her son Richard Pineau; and her siblings, Bertha Labonte and Donald Bernier.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Wingate (Bruce) of Westport and David Pineau (Linda) of Westport; her grandchildren, Jennifer Xavier, Julie Butter (David), Amy Speed-Henley (Cameron), Matthew Wingate (Kelly), Eric Wingate (Bri), Lauren Pineau, Alyssa Pineau and Cara Kushner (Sam); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Leah, Kaelyn, Audrey, Skylar, Riley, Colette, Walter and Olive.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Potter Funeral Home (61 Tarkiln Hill Rd, New Bedford, MA 02745). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (569 Sanford Rd, Westport, MA 02790).
