She was predeceased by: her spouse Harvell Markland; her parents, Joseph Saleem and Manura Saleem (George Rouks); her son John Markland; and her grandson Timothy Markland.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Desrosiers of Somerset, Michael Markland (Karen) of Somerset, George Markland (Eileen) of Tiverton and Patricia Markland-Kopet (David Kopet) of Arizona; her grandchildren, Mary-Ann Malson, Paula Semonelli, Michael Markland, Kathie Bernier, Laurie Lund and Christine Langton; her great grandchildren, Jake, John Paul, Julien, Joseph and Elizabeth; and her great great grandchildren, Tyler and Connor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of the Desert Church (300 N Eastern Ave, Fall River, MA 02723).
