He was predeceased by: his sister Anna Gagne; and his uncle Edmond. He is survived by: his children, Deborah St. Pierre (late Maurice) of Somerset, George Desrosiers Jr. (Lauri) of Westport, Patricia Joseph (Andrew) of Swansea and Michelle Roseberry; his grandchildren, Vicki Kenyon (Edward), David Michael Polak, Christine Sinnott (Frank), Tryce Garrant (Jenny), Benjamin Roseberry, Brooke Traverso (Mike) and Joshua Roseberry; his great grandchildren, Cole Travers, Reis Travers, Broderic Kenyon, David Robert Benjamin Polak, Frankie Sinnott, Kennedy Garrant, Andrew Traverso and Emmalynn Traverso; and his siblings, Wilfred Desrosiers, Lillian Givens and Victoria Desrosiers (Gosselin).
