He was predeceased by : his wife Marie Ellen Snyder (Mulcahy); his parents, Clarence Snyder and Hilda Snyder (Sherwood); and his siblings, Irene Martin, June Duerden, Edna Barlow, Verna Henderson and William Snyder.

He is survived by : his children, Beth Snyder (Erik Leroy) of Anchorage and Kevin A. Snyder (Virginia) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Hilary, Emma, Louise, Samantha and Johanna; and his great grandchildren, Elsa, Maren, Lennox and Theo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the SBRHS Athletic Boosters, 625 County Street, Somerset, MA 02726.
