It is with sadness that the passing of Hazel L. Costa of Somerset, Massachusetts is shared. Hazel, born on June 20, 1934, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Costa, Jr.; her parents, Arthur G. Langton and Ellen Langton (Dickinson); and her siblings, June Taylor, Ellen Ayer, Louise Tasker, Arthur, William, Roy, Robert and John Langton.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph R. Costa of Somerset, Elizabeth A. Pearson (Matthew) of Chelmsford and Douglas A. Costa of Somerset; and her grandchildren, David, Kaitlin Pearson, Zachary, Julia and Sarah Costa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waring-Sullivan Home (178 Winter St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (765 Prospect St, Fall River, MA 02720).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 330 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
