We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Helena L. (Boyko) Sowa of Somerset, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund P. Sowa; her parents, Frank J. Boyko Sr. and Helena A. Boyko (Wycislak); and her children, Donna J. Bateman of Homestead, FL and Gregory E. Sowa of Somerset, MA.
She is survived by: her son Steven E. Sowa of Somerset; her sisters, Anna Gannon of Sarasota and Katherine F. Milano (Louis) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and her grandson Austin T. Bateman. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Per Helena's request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either the Sowa Family Scholarship Foundation c/o Somerset Friends of Music, Pancreatic Cancer Research, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
