Joel E. McCurry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, Joel E. McCurry of Somerset, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Caroline McCurry (Waring); his parents, Everett H. McCurry and Venice L. McCurry (Collins); his children, John McCurry (Mary McCurrry) of Somerset and Susan Wilkinson (Robert) of Westport; and his grandchildren, Jessica McCurry, Dr. Ian McCurry (Jessica Carducci), Delaney and Bailey Wilkinson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Congregational Christian Church (1411 County St, Somerset, MA 02726).
