He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Bednarik and Meryl Pires. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Bednarik; his children, Joseph F. Bednarik, Jr. (Diana) of Somerset and Jayde Bednarik (Geoffrey Krapf) of Hopkinton, MA.; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jaxson Bednarik, Owen and Liam Krapf; his stepbrother James Campbell of Dartmouth, MA; and his siblings, Carolyn Peery, Geraldine Cooper and David Bednarik of Swansea, MA.. He is also survived by his family, friends, and neighbors.
A memorial service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (306 South St, Somerset, MA 02726).
