Lawrence Mitchell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Mitchell of Somerset, Massachusetts, born in Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Becky Mitchell (Jimmy Menacho), Ainslee Benoit (Dave) and Matt Danis (Nichole); his grandchildren, Cierra, Courtney, Leah, Avery, Logan and Justin; his great grandchild Mina; his brothers, David and James; and his stepbrother Gary Gagne.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Polish American Citizens Club (85 Maple Ave, Uncasville, CT 06382).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The American Heart Association in Larry's memory.
