Lucille L. Fontaine Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucille L. Fontaine of Somerset, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell W. Fontaine; her parents, Theobald Canuel and Eliza Canuel (Otis); and her brothers, Rev. Robert Canuel and Paul R. Canuel.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Fontaine (Francyne) of Barrington, RI and Susan Jameson (Nicholas) of Plaistow, NH.; her grandchildren, Colin Jameson (Lisa), Erin Jameson, James Etheridge (Amanda), Erica O'Malley (Patrick) and Mark Etheridge (Karina); her great grandchildren, Madison Jameson, James Etheridge, Tyler Etheridge, Owen O'Malley, Shea O'Malley, Maya Etheridge, Ava Etheridge, Finn O'Malley and Brooke Etheridge; and her great great grandchild Mia Etheridge.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hathaway Community Home For Funerals (900 Buffinton St, Somerset, MA 02726). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luis de France Church (56 Buffinton St, Swansea, MA 02777).
