She was predeceased by : her husband Armando N. Brasil; her parents, Manuel Lima and Melania Lima (Sousa); and her siblings, Deoclecio Lima, Jose Lima, Guilherme Lima, Fatima Estrela and Leonor Pereira.

She is survived by : her children, Genevieve Cunha (Lucio) of Somerset and Armando S. Brasil (Carmen) of Loretto, Michigan. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
