He was predeceased by: his parents, Marianno Costa and Cecelia Costa (Borges); his brother-in-law Vincent Martin, Sr. of Fall River; and his siblings, Sandra Aubin of Virginia and Donald Costa, Sr. of Fall River.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Costa (Pilacik); his sons, Richard Costa, Jr. of Southwest Florida and Robb Costa (Debra) of Southwest Florida; his grandsons, Drew and Jarrod; and his sister Patricia Martin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
