He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Briere and Elizabeth Briere (Braney); and his siblings, Marion Madonna, Normand Briere, Barbara Schroeder, Jean LeComte and Robert Briere.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Briere (Cyr); his children, Richard Briere, Jr. (Bella) of Rehoboth, Patricia Pascarella (Stephen) of Swansea, Shawn Briere (Sally) of Somerset and Caroline McDonald (Peter) of Swansea; his grandchildren, Christine Pascarella (Tim) of Seekonk, Stephanie Pascarella of Swansea, Mallorie and Meredith McDonald of Swansea; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Madison and Luke.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hathaway Community Home For Funerals (900 Buffinton St, Somerset, MA 02726). A prayer will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
