She was predeceased by: her husband Armand Martel; her parents, Ludger Hamel and Fedora Hamel (Ouellette); and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her children, Moe Martel of Somerset, Jerry Martel (Leigh) of Somerset, Ray Martel of Swansea, Dee Griffin (John) of Swansea and Diane Martel-Matrone (Ron) of Narragansett; her grandchildren, Sheri, Sandy, Ali, Jen, David, Tara and Lauren; and her siblings, Normand Hamel, Richard Hamel, Ronald Hamel and Madeline Tompkins. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Grace Gospel Church (3049 County St, Somerset, MA 02726). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
