He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gangas and Demetra Gangas (Hantzitheodorakis). He is survived by: his wife Eleni Gangas (Karakostas); and his children, Michael Gangas, Demetra Dayaa (George) and Georgia Gangas (Lazaros Askaridis). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the above named church.
