Bridget Travers Obituary
In loving memory of Bridget Travers of Somerville, Massachusetts, who departed this world on July 27, 2025 at the age of 75. Bridget leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Patrick; and her siblings, James Moran of England and Josephine Lydon (Moran) of Brighton, MA.. She is survived by: her husband Tony; her grandchildren, Grace McGrath, Ethan McGrath, Claire McGrath and Thomas Juszkiewicz; and her siblings, Kathleen Barrington (Moran) of England, Ann McTiernan (Moran) of Leitrim Ireland and Padraig Moran of Sligo Ireland.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A procession will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict Church (25 Arlington St, Somerville, MA 02145). A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (302 Elm St, Everett, MA 02149).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bridget's to the Parkinson's Foundation and the American Parkinson Disease Association.
