It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L. Vitiello of Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 16, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Amadeo L. Vitiello and Irene C. Vitiello (Lodi). He is survived by : his wife Iris E. Haley; his sisters, Linda Vitiello of Somerville and Kathryn Vitiello (David Pladziewicz) of Medford; his niece Laura Pladziewicz of Medford; and his pet Pooter Pie.

“David was a high school classmate with whom I shared 10th grade classes. But I got to know him better through the years as he attended our high school reunions and more recently the Zoom sessions I held during the pandemic. I knew he was ill and was saddened by his sudden passing. I passed this information along to all his classmates and received many email responses and condolences to be passed to his family. RIP David........you were the smartest kid in our 10th grade geometry class...”
