She was predeceased by: her father Cornelius F. Malaney; her son Lawrence Freeman; and her sister Anne Joyce. She is survived by: her children, Laura Patterson (Robert) of Methuen, Stephen Freeman and Elaine Colangeli (William) of Westford; and her siblings, Thomas and Neil Malaney. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two late grandchildren and also a loving great-grandmother.
