Eleanor M. (Boeri) Dunne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor M. (Boeri) Dunne of Somerville, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2025 at the age of 101. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Boeri and Genoveffa Boeri (Giovanani); her husband William J. Dunne; her daughter Eileen F. Dunne of Somerville; and her siblings, Victor Boeri, Mary Bonaccorso, John Boeri, Francis Durante and Louis Boeri.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Ann Dunne and Brian Dunne of Winthrop; her grandchildren, Victoria Dunne (Caspar Tudor), Breanna Basile (Salvatore) and Matthew Madden (Jaime); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Katelyn, Madyson, Layla and Violet; her sisters, Eileen Martino and Annie Boeri; and her daughter Liz Nola. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A wake was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A procession was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (2254 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02140). A burial was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (302 Elm St, Everett, MA 02149).
