It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis J. Leland of Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Leland and Francesca Ghilarducci Leland. He is survived by: his wife Louise Leland; his granddaughter Naomi Lieberman; his cousins, Grazia Ghilarducci and Massimo Ghilarducci (Paula); and also, Lisa and David.
Raised bilingual in Italian, he traveled to Italy regularly to visit family, an experience he treasured and continued with through the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frank's name to the American Cancer Society.
