James J. Scimemi Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James J. Scimemi of Somerville, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James J. Scimemi to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Madeline Ann (Gibbons) and Joseph Scimemi; his children, Erika Apicella of Provincetown, Ashley Rose Scimemi of New Bedford, Maxwell J. Scimemi of Lynnfield and Samuel J. Scimemi of Lynnfield; his siblings, Joseph J. Scimemi (Kim), Rose Marie Dill (Robert) and Madeline "Maddy" Scimemi; his siblings' children, Joseph, Jr., Chantal Scimemi, Jolene, Robert, Jr., Taylor Dill and Dante Scimemi Vernon; Carolyn Scimemi (Beaty) of Lynnfield. He was also cherished by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Benedict Church (25 Arlington St, Somerville, MA 02145).
