He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Agnes Beattie (McLeod) of Florida and Robert Beattie; his wife Joanna Beattie (Forgione); his son John S. Beattie, Jr.; his granddaughter Hannah Beattie; and his siblings, Laura Horgan of Florida, Douglas Beattie of Texas and Robert Beattie.
