With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria C. (Vricella) Tierno of Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 28, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastiano Vricella and Assunta Vricella (Capo); her spouse Arsenio "Sammy" Tierno; and her brother Antonio Vricella. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Tierno (Marianne), Anthony Tierno (Karen) and Carla Mills (late Bill); her grandsons, Joseph, Andrew, Austin and Jonathan; and her sisters, Angela Gelardi (late Rosario) and Mafalda Verderese (Raffaele).

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Maria's name to St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, MA, 02145.
