She was predeceased by: her parents, Francesco LaFerla and Rosa LaFerla (Pattania); her husband Frank Silvestro; and her siblings, Anita Scalzo (Salvatore), Joseph LaFerla (Frances), Salvatore LaFerla (Linda) and Domenic LaFerla (Francesca).
She is survived by: her children, Grace Riccardi (Joseph) of Reading, Joe Silvestro of Stoneham and Frank Silvestro of Fremont, CA.; her grandson Joseph T. Riccardi; and her sister Josephine Randazzo (late Angelo). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Maria's name to a charity of One's choice.
