She was predeceased by: her husband Cornelius Canty; her son Michael Canty (Nancy) of Barnstable; and her siblings, Timmy Leonard (Noreen), Maggie Collins (Teddy), John Leonard (Etta), Paddy Leonard (Mary), Michael Leonard, Betty O'Mahoney, Breda Kealing, Eileen Caplice (David), Peter Leonard (Madge) and Mary Kate Leonard.
She is survived by: her children, Neil Canty (Kathleen) of Franklin and Ellen Conte (Vigo) of Somerville; her grandchildren, Erin McGrath (Chris), Molly Maynard (Michael), Sarah Canty, Ryan Conte (Erin), Kaleigh Conte, Maggie Canty (Chris Mobilia), Shane and Aidan Canty; her great grandchildren, Molly, Douglas, Meara and Malcolm; and her sister Kathleen McSweeney (late Dermot) of Ireland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
