He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuele Gangi and Mildred C. Gangi (Giannusa); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Iris D. Gangi (Heid); his daughters, Valery Allen of Kodak, TN, Brenda Weaver (Kerry) of Westford and April Gangi of Somerville; his brother Victor Gangi of West Newbury; his grandchildren, Hillary Vite (Gilberto), Jason Weaver, Bruce Weaver, Vance Banks, Cory McGill and Curtis Banks; and his siblings, Emanuele Gangi, Madeline Wetzler, Teresa Payne, Josephine Gangi, Stella Meyer and Anna Desmarais.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
