With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peter H. Vermilye of Somerville, Massachusetts, born in New York, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peter left this world on August 10, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Peter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Peter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter H. Vermilye, Sr. and Lucy M. Vermilye; and his siblings, Mary Minott of Manchester, Andrew Vermilye of Bethesda, MD and Dana Vermilye of Manchester. He was also cherished by seven nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Friends of Manchester Trees or WBUR radio, a station Pete loved.
