We are sad to announce that, on August 27, 2022, at the age of 87, Richard E. Payzant of Somerville, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Payzant (Swallow) and Earl Payzant; his wife Dorothea J. Payzant (Andrews); and his sister Hope Fitzgibbon. He is survived by: his children, Dorothea "Dotty" Payzant of Somerville, Rene Payzant of Medford, Richard Payzant (Nancy Jackson) of Somerville and Michelle Payzant of Medford; his grandchildren, Tiffany (David), Andrew (Bri), Brandon, Austin, Tanya and Ricky; his great grandchildren, Carys, Devin, Nathan, Rayden, Lorenzo, Penelope, Quinton, Jack and Alice; and his siblings, Anita Payzant and Earl Payzant, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
