We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2021, Scott James Carmichael of Somerville, Massachusetts, born in North Plainfield, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carmichael and Joan Carmichael (Haggerty); and his brother Roy Carmichael. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Carmichael (Smith); his children, Jason Carmichael (Kristen) of Wilmington, Janelle Carmichael of Tewksbury and Jillian Carmichael of Boston; his grandchildren, James, Skylar, Jordan, Jason and Jenesis; his siblings, Kerry Carmichael (Diane) of Arizona, Glenn Carmichael of New Jersey and Joan Sides (Kip) of California; his nephews, Andrew and Christopher Sides; and his cousins, Theresa Haggerty Frosoni, Geraldine Napoleon, Valarie Watts, Sharon Katsempris, Kathleen Kinley, Mary Grant and Daniel Haggerty.

Visiting hours with social distancing protocols will be held on Tuesday, January 19th from 4 through 6 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA.
