Siegmar Silber Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Siegmar Silber of Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Siegmar's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Siegmar has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Koppold (Shmulewitz) and Abraham Koppold; his adoptive parent Gussie (Meyer Silber); and his siblings, Tzvi Shdaimah and Zillah Weininger.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Silber (Livingstone); his children, Rachel Silber of Melrose, David Silber of Arlington and Miriam Gornish of Lakewood, NJ.; and his brother Harold (Tzvi). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon Memorial Park (40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA 02067).
