With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valia A. Burns of Somerville, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernesto Belloste and Cesira Belloste (Vecchia); and her husband John F. Burns. She is survived by : her daughters, Cheryl Winter (late Howie) of Somerville and Valerie Fitzpatrick (John) of Somerville; her grandchildren, John, Jessica, Keith, Sylvia, Thomas, Jenn, Sean, Bianca, Jillian, Paul and Alexis; and her great grandchildren, Callie, Maggie, Ava, Charlie, Gianna, Layla and Cole.
