She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas A. Gill and Anna J. Hennessy; her husband Bernard A. O'Rourke; and her siblings, Bernadette Brawn (late Kenneth) of Meredith, NH, Dorothea McKenna (late Gus) of Waltham, Robert Donahue of South Boston and Patricia Tremblay (Bert) of Braintree.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen F. O'Rourke (Boston) of South Boston and Bernard P. O'Rourke; her granddaughter Shauna Lynch (Ryan O'Rourke) of South Boston; her great grandchildren, Myles, Conor Lynch, Teagan, Delaney O'Rourke, Kayleigh and Mason Daniels; her siblings, Marian Bata (late Charles) of Braintree, George Donahue (Kay) of Braintree, John Gill (late Pamela) of Brockton, Donald Gill (Evelyn) of Bridgewater, Patricia Bosco (John) of Punta Gorda, FL, Paul Gill of Brockton and Barbara Tropea (late Dave) of Abington; her niece Maureen Buckley Warren; her grandsons, Michael Alessandro, Dennis Alessandro, Kevin Alessandro, Brian Alessandro and Steven Alessandro; and her nephews, Tim Buckley (Janie) and Bill (Jeannette Buckley'). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Casper Funeral Home (187 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Church (615 E 4th St, South Boston, MA 02127).
