In the sacred silence of farewell, Daniel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Daniel's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Evelyn Egan; his parents, Ralph Jacoby and Pauline Jacoby; and his sister Donna Perozzi (Robert). He is survived by: his daughter Donna Cashin (Cameron); his stepsons, Alan Jankewicz and Wayne Jankewicz; his sister Irene Swenson (Kurt); and his grandson Daniel Cashin. He is also survived by his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Casper Funeral Home (187 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Chapel South Boston (181 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127).
